The Virtual Dementia tour changes perspectives

Few training programs convey so much understanding in such a short period of time. From start to finish, participants can expect to spend about 30 minutes from sign-in to sign-out. Eight minutes of this time will be spent experiencing the dementia simulation, and eight to ten minutes is spent processing that experience through a guided discussion. "This training brings alot of light to a dark subject," says Cloud Conrad, Beyond Dementia Coalition Executive Director. After the Virtual Dementia Tour(R), people can't help but think about dementia differently. We recommend participants wear comfortable, closed toe shoes.
